Opportunity:
We're hiring a Direct Hire Order Coordinator/Admin to join the team at a reputable manufacturing company in Edina, MN. This individual provides sales and order support for the National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives within the Hospitality Division of the company. This position also supports the Regional Sales Manager for Latin America.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, mail or social media.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with internal and external customers, working to establish a positive rapport with every interaction.
  • Ensure Salesforce.com (SFDC) utilization is in compliance with expectations.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting corrective action; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Respond to customers inquirers within the established response time.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing tasks to the agreed upon on timeframe
  • Understanding basic pricing strategies of key accounts in the Hospitality industry, for both domestic, Canada, and Latin America
  • Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate sales manager
  • Reads and routes incoming mail
  • Report on Avendra spend, Hilton spend, Marriott LATAM, and other hospitality account sales
  • Report on established company rebate programs
  • Files and copies correspondence and other records.
  • Sends out literature or pricing requests by mail, phone, or e-mail.
  • Assist in product research as requested.
  • Process and manage wallbed project quoting, order entry, space design, and order coordination internally as well as with 3rd party vendor
  • Code, clarify, and process (enter) all incoming orders in Epicor for the Hospitality Division, for both Domestic and Latin American sales.
  • Handle the arrangements for dealer and/or internal sales meetings. This may include, but not limited to hotel arrangements, food & beverage requirements during the meeting, lunch & dinner reservations, meeting material preparation, meeting room reservation & organization.
  • Assist with all aspects of tradeshow coordination including ordering of company merch products to be displayed in booth, ordering of required support services from the tradeshow/material handling company, ordering banners & tradeshow elements, hotel reservations, product & brochure order placement. What makes you a great fit:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three to five years relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with product structure, bill of materials, routers, prints, etc.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Technical and detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze a situation and define a solution.
  • Work well under pressure, meets deadlines and commitments to customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
