Locum Tenens Otolaryngologist (ENT)Location:
Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a locum tenens opportunity providing comprehensive ENT and facial trauma coverage. This role includes a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, surgical procedures, and trauma call responsibilities across hospital and clinic settings.Schedule & Coverage Estimated Shifts:
10 days per monthCoverage Model:
10 consecutive days per month (Saturday 7:00 AM following Tuesday 7:00 AM) Optional alternative: Friday start (7:00 AM) through the following Monday Clinic & Rounding (Mon Fri): 8:00 AM 4:30PM Call Coverage:
Weekdays:
4:30 PM 8:00AM Weekends:
24-hour call (8:00 AM 8:00 AM) Practice Setting Outpatient clinic (Hollidaysburg office and one day/week in Bedford office) Inpatient rounding and consults at hospital Surgical cases in the OR Trauma call coverage Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum otolaryngology care including: Office-based patient visits ( 20 patients/day; mix of new and established) Inpatient consults and rounding ( 2 weekdays/week) Surgical procedures Trauma and emergency airway management Perform required procedures including: Tracheotomy Oral maxillofacial and facial trauma repair Facial plating and soft tissue repair Mandible arch bars (minimal) Respond to in-house call within 30 minutes Independently manage patient care (solo provider coverage) Trauma Coverage Details Weekend call typically involves: 2 4 consults (commonly motor vehicle accident-related injuries) Facial trauma management Airway emergencies Requirements Board Certified in Otolaryngology Active Pennsylvania Medical License (preferred) Pennsylvania DEA license ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 5 years of clinical experience Ability to perform tracheotomy and facial trauma procedures Candidates with IMLC eligibility will be consideredAdditional Information EMR System:
