We are a paving and concrete construction company specializing in infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast. Our team is looking for a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join us for over-the-road hauls, transporting equipment to and from our various job sites.

Position Summary:

The CDL Class A Driver will be responsible for safely transporting paving and concrete equipment between our Islandia, NY base and project sites across the Northeast. Routes include New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and up through Maine. The right candidate will have experience handling, loading, and unloading heavy equipment and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate company-owned automatic transmission trucks for long-haul and regional routes Load and unload construction and paving equipment at job sites using chains, binders, or other securement tools Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation Keep accurate trip logs, delivery records, and inspection reports Communicate effectively with dispatch and project teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred (experience with equipment transport a plus) Working knowledge of loading and securing equipment such as pavers, rollers, skid steers, or similar Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screen Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional communication skills
