Part-Time Shopkeeper --

Perfect Pots In The Village Hours:

16-32 hours weekly 2-3 weekdays and 2 Saturdays per month (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday are the most needed days) Join our team of friendly floral enthusiasts! We're looking for 2 part-time shopkeepers to join our team at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. You'll help shape the store and the experiences that our customers enjoy so much. You'll be right in the middle of a busy outdoor shopping environment, connecting with tourists and locals alike. This role on our team is ideal for someone who is a strong independent and team oriented worker, has a passion for hand made arts and goods, enjoys taking care of plants, loves Lancaster County and its visitors, and has a heart or an eye for customer care and merchandising (or is willing to learn!) Work with a team whose mission is to spread happiness with flowers!

Responsibilities:

• Contribute positively to the team and company by knowing, supporting, and promoting the company's mission and values in daily work
• Open/close store
• Count down cash drawer each day and prepare deposits
• Greet and provide excellent service to customers, providing a memorable, personalized experience
• Assist customers to select products
• Efficiently check out customers, wrapping their items with care
• Follow guidelines and systems in place to keep store organized and stocked
• Maintain attractive, well stocked, clean displays
• Unpack new inventory
• Care for plants
• Use team communication app to ensure smooth operations with other locations Additional Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements:

• Execute non-compete documentation
• Availability to work some Saturdays
• Flexibility for seasonal adjustments to hours and scheduling required (reduced hours in January / February)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for entire shift, and work in all weather environment
• Background check
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Retail, merchandising, customer service experience preferred
