GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and general repairs in and around the resort as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Regular and timely attendance for scheduled shiftsPerform general repair and maintenance of any equipment found in and around the resort / spa.
Responsible for accurate record keeping of assigned tasks.
Ensures that all safety systems are operable.
Responsible for properly utilizing safety equipment and gear.
Responsible for responding to guest room calls as required.
Performs all work in a neat and professional manner.
Keeps work area clean and orderly at all times.
Maintains proper uniform at all times.
Resolves guests' issuesProjects a friendly and hospitable atmosphere to all guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position requires that the employee have Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicators License (category #24).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must occasionally sit, and taste or smell. The employee must also be able to lift or exert force up to 100 pounds. It is helpful if the employee meets the following vision requirements; close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus). It is helpful, to meet these requirements, to perform the essential duties of this position, as follows; adding chemicals to pools, moving lounge furniture, carrying pool chemicals, covering/uncovering pools, changing filters, inspecting filters, inspecting water clarity, and changing/maintaining machinery.

Working at this job, the employee encounters the following conditions; wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The may have to work in high, precarious places at times. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
