Packaging Assistant

Job Overview Gray's Trucking and Specialty Hauling Service LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Packaging Assistant to support daily shipping and freight preparation operations. This position is responsible for packaging materials, preparing shipments, labeling freight, and helping ensure items are secured properly for transportation and delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Package and prepare materials and freight for shipment Label and organize outgoing packages accurately Inspect packaged items to ensure quality and shipment readiness Assist with loading, staging, and organizing freight Maintain packing supplies and organized work areas Support inventory handling and shipment preparation tasks Follow company safety procedures and packaging guidelines Work with warehouse and operations staff to meet shipping deadlines Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within packaging areas Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a physically active environment Reliable attendance and professional attitude

Pay:

$21.90 - $22.70 per hour
