Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' growth and success for the 2026-2027 school year as a Physical Therapist Assistant. This full-time contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and therapy professionals, making a meaningful impact in a vibrant school environment near Enoree, SC.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current PTA licensure or eligibility in South Carolina Previous experience in a school setting or working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, therapists, and families Organizational ability to manage caseloads and required documentation Enthusiasm for fostering student independence and inclusion
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in executing individualized therapy plans for students Work one-on-one or with small groups to facilitate exercises, activities, and mobility training Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining detailed and timely documentation Support classroom staff with adaptations or recommendations to enhance physical access and participation Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student needs and therapeutic goals Ensure the safety, confidentiality, and well-being of all students throughout daily activities
