Packaging Technician

Duties Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to ensure smooth production flow. Assemble packaging components accurately and efficiently using hand tools and mechanical knowledge. Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards throughout all packaging processes. Conduct quality checks on packaged products, verifying labeling, sealing, and overall presentation meet specifications. Utilize warehouse experience and forklift skills to manage inventory, move materials, and ensure proper storage of packaging supplies. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging equipment to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools and adherence to warehouse safety procedures. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or packaging environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality control procedures. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for assembly or maintenance tasks. Proficiency in operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated equipment. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous. Strong understanding of packaging processes, assembly techniques, and the use of hand tools. Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
