Packaging/Warehouse Assistant

Maintain and execute all functions according to policy and procedures, safety requirements, and best practices. Tasks include but are not limited to all aspects of keg washing, raw materials handling, keg and packaging material handling, assisting with packaging, beer deliveries, equipment sanitation & maintenance and warehouse organization. Job Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:

• Execute all cleaning, sanitation, and preparatory tasks to clean kegs
• Maintain keg washing machine and all related equipment
• Organize and clean warehouse as directed
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of warehouse
• Follow best practices and safety requirements
• Assist in packaging & organizing beer for delivery to our distributors and North Country Brewing Co.'s locations
• Deliver beer to our distributors and North Country Brewing Co.'s locations
• Clean and maintain draft lines at our locations

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work and communicate well with all staff
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 160 lbs. and be able to move kegs and other heavy objects
• Work safely with chemicals and use of proper PPE
• Read, write, and calculate basic algebra
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for company's liability insurance
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and obtain certification

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
