About the

Role:

The Local Triaxle Driver plays a critical role in the timely and safe transportation of goods within designated local regions of Western PA and Eastern OH, United States. This position requires operating a triaxle truck to deliver materials efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good working condition and ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Effective communication with dispatchers, clients, and team members is essential to coordinate routes and resolve any issues that arise during transport. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall success of the supply chain by providing reliable and professional transportation services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with No Restrictions- appropriate endorsements for operating a triaxle truck. Proven experience driving triaxle or similar heavy-duty trucks in a local delivery environment. Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents. Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs). Familiarity with loading and securing various types of cargo. Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working in construction, landscaping, or related industries.

Responsibilities:

Operate a triaxle truck to transport goods locally within assigned routes and schedules. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload materials safely, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates and resolve delivery issues. Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies. Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
