Packer Hours:

7:00am-3:30pm

Pay:

$17.00/hr.

Summary:

Responsible for performing repetitive assembly operations on a variety of fabricated pieces into sub or final assemblies in adjusting pieces by trimming, bending, etc., through use of judgment in ensuring a proper fit. Check pieces for proper fit, assembly. Must snap some pieces into place and fasten others with hardware.

Duties:

Must be able to use screwdriver, hammer, pliers, wrenches, riveting machines, etc… working from supervisor demonstration or approved sample. Use hand truck to move skids of pieces to and from work area with finished product packed on containers on skids. Remove skids or containers of pieces from assembly benches. Read route sheet, verify quantities, and record the start and finish reading, indicating the operation performed on ticket and record time changes. Follow prescribed safety practices.
