First to Float Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse Manager to oversee perioperative services and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, perioperative experience, and the ability to manage clinical operations effectively within a union environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily perioperative department operations Supervise and support nursing and surgical staff Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care Coordinate staffing, workflow, and patient scheduling Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Monitor compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Assist with staff education, performance management, and process improvement initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting Required Certifications ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)

• AHA PALS

  (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
