Responsibilities Prepare vehicles by cleaning and masking surfaces to ensure optimal film adhesion and a seamless finish. Precisely cut, fit, and apply paint protection films using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment. Use auto glass tools and buffing techniques to eliminate bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections during installation. Conduct quality checks throughout the process to guarantee flawless application and adherence to safety standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto body repairs, auto painting, and detailing as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools—including welding equipment and heavy lifting gear—are properly stored and maintained. Communicate effectively with customers about the installation process, providing excellent customer service from start to finish. Skills Proven dealership experience or background in automotive service environments. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair techniques. Familiarity with auto painting, auto glass installation, buffing, and detailing processes. Experience with auto estimating software and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large or awkwardly shaped vehicle parts. Knowledge of auto restoration projects and auto body repair methods is highly desirable. Welding skills or experience with airless paint spraying are advantageous for specialized applications. Excellent customer service skills paired with clear communication abilities.
