Job Description
Night Shift-4pm-4am
Summary :
Direct the assurance of quality pallets and on time delivery through prescribed practices and procedures to maintain continuous production, flow of pallets and customer satisfaction. Direct and coordinate the work of skilled and unskilled labor involved in machining of lumber to final pallet assembly and loading for scheduled delivery to include set up of various secondary and pallet machines. Assign and check work while taking corrective action for non-compliance of customer specifications. Direct scheduled and non-scheduled employee hours as needed to meet customer needs. Maintain the continuous production flow through verbal and written pallet orders, specifications, manage daily operation to include processing of not standard pallets. Maintain daily inventory through directing the customer specification needs of Pole Mill Mgr and Saw Mill. Schedule flat beds and vans daily through communication with transportation dept. Meet with and schedule daily production with scheduling Mgr to determine lumber and runner inventory needs. Direct and maintain control load sheet of trailer numbers, load counts and assure quality prior to shipping. Maintain safety program while assuring good house-keeping. Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:

Capable of directing multiple task 6. Excellent measurement and shop math. 7. High school plus additional specialized training. 8. Knowledge of labor laws and company policies and procedures. 9. Able to work independently 10. Follow established EWPI safety rules to include special emphasis on Lock-out/Tag-out procedures 11. Work in a safe manner 12. Maintain clean and orderly work area 13.
