This position maintains food quality, cleanliness, organization, and safe food-handling practices while supporting overall kitchen operations. The right person will be passionate about food, beer, wine, spirits and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a server in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, dressings, desserts, and garnishes Portion and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Stock and organize pantry station with ingredients and supplies Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and storage areas Follow food safety and health regulations Assist with prep work for other kitchen stations as needed Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages Properly label and store food items Work efficiently during busy service periods Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Knowledge of basic food preparation and knife skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must have the endurance for long shifts 8-12 hours Must have flexible hour Safe Serve Certified Must be willing to do side work, including light cleaning duties
