Paraeducator

The Paraeducator supports classroom teachers in providing instruction and supervision to students in a general education setting. This role assists with academic, behavioral, and organizational support to help ensure a positive and productive learning environment for all students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson implementation Provide one-on-one or small group support to reinforce learning concepts Help supervise students in the classroom, hallways, lunchroom, recess, and other school settings Support classroom management and positive student behavior Assist with preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom resources Monitor and document student progress as directed by the teacher Provide support to students with diverse learning needs Assist students with organization, task completion, and study skills Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
