Paramedic

Full-Time Paramedic or EMT We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic or EMT to assist in the treatment and care of patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations in Manufacturing setting, located in Merritt Island Florida. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Provide treatment and care for injured or ill patients in accordance with company protocols and procedures. Perform patient assessments and determine whether patients may safely remain at work following medical treatment. Complete and maintain accurate electronic documentation and reports with clear, concise wording. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. Keep work areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for use at all times. Assist with triage and facility evacuations as needed. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and staff. Maintain knowledge of all facility areas, including entrances and exits in the event of an emergency. Conduct pre-employment, post-accident, random, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing according to company procedures. Required Education and Experience Current EMT or Paramedic license required. Copies of all current certifications must be provided. Minimum of one year of field experience as an EMT or Paramedic preferred. Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Current BLS certification required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or DOT collection certification are preferred. Veterans and prior military experience are encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods. Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and high-stress situations. Schedule Expectations Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on operational needs.
