Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting Extended School Year (ESY) programs as a paraprofessional! Openings are available for 15 dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in two specialized learning centers, working alongside educators to assist students in achieving their goals this summer.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, PCA, or related school-based support role preferred Ability to provide assistance to students with diverse needs in a classroom setting Current PA School Clearances dated within one calendar year of your start Commitment to attend staff inservice training and designated instructional days Strong communication skills and a compassionate, proactive attitude

Your Role:

Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide individualized support for students during ESY instructional hours Assist students with academic tasks, behavioral support, and personal care as needed Foster a positive environment that encourages student growth and independence Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Ensure safety and active engagement of all students entrusted to your care

Schedule Details:

Choose between two locations: learning center in Chambersburg or York Staff inservice: July 7, 2026 (required) Student instructional days: July 8 - 30, 2026, Monday through

Thursday Chambersburg:

8:15am-11:45am

York:
