Make a Difference Every Day Parent Educator Burlington United Methodist Family Services (BUMFS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Parent Educator to support families and young children through our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program. What You'll Do You'll play a vital role in supporting families through education, guidance, and connection: Conduct home visits with families (prenatal through kindergarten) Provide parenting education and child development information Develop individualized plans and set goals with families Use screening tools (ASQ-3, ASQ-SE, Edinburgh, etc.) and make referrals Document visits and maintain accurate records in required systems Coordinate and facilitate group connections (10-12 annually) Build relationships with community partners and service providers Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with families Manage a caseload based on program requirements What You Bring A passion for supporting families and strengthening communities.
