Job Description
Qualifications Sociology and Anthropology:
The positions in sociology require a master's or doctoral degree in sociology or a closely related discipline. The positions in anthropology and criminology require a master's or doctoral degree in sociology, anthropology, or a closely related discipline.Women's and Gender Studies:
The positions in Women's and Gender Studies require a master's or doctoral degree in Women's and Gender Studies, LBGTQ+ Studies, or a master's or doctoral degree in a related discipline with an emphasis on gender and/or LGBTQ+ Studies (as indicated by a Certificate in WGST, for example). Because WGST courses are taught from multi- and inter-disciplinary frameworks, scholars from multiple academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. For all positions, evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level is required.
