Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Attorney Associate to join our dynamic legal team. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis. Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in managing client files and maintaining organized records within the law office's administrative systems. Support attorneys in litigation processes by preparing case summaries, evidence documentation, and discovery materials. Participate in negotiations with clients or opposing counsel to facilitate favorable outcomes across multiple practice areas such as family law, landlord-tenant disputes, or securities transactions. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations including tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and others to ensure compliance and informed legal advice. Contribute to ongoing legal research projects that enhance the firm's knowledge base and service quality. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and current admission to the state bar. Proven experience or strong interest in practicing litigation. Demonstrated proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal documents. Strong negotiation skills with a proactive approach to resolving complex legal issues. Prior legal administrative experience preferred but not required; familiarity with managing multiple cases efficiently is advantageous.
