Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Tasting Room Busser & Food Runner is an energetic and detail-oriented member of our hospitality team. This key support role ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and flow of our tasting room and patios, while efficiently delivering food pairings and small bites to tables. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Promptly clear and reset tables in the tasting room and patio areas. Wash, polish, and restock glassware, utensils, and service items. Deliver food and wine pairings to guests accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor and maintain cleanliness in guest-facing areas, including the tasting room, patios, walkways and restrooms. Keep tasting room, work areas, and bathrooms stocked and cleaned at all times. Maintain water stations and remove empty bottles and used items throughout the day. Restock wine, merchandise, and other supplies as needed. Support event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture and setting décor. Assist in maintaining back-of-house areas, including dishwashing and prep zones. Monitor guest needs and communicate effectively with the hosts and kitchen teams. Provide friendly and professional guest support when appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on attitude. Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills. Willingness to learn about wine and hospitality operations. Must be at least 18 years of age. Professional appearance and conduct. Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or wineries is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent movement and physical activity for extended periods. • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and communicate clearly. Able to lift, carry and/or move 50 lbs regularly.
Working Conditions:
Combination of indoor and outdoor work, with approximately 50% outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed. A lively, fast-paced environment centered around hospitality, food, and wine.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
