We strive to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. The Center provides care for toddlers 18 months through preschoolers up to 5 years old. Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable assistant teachers to join our team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering high-quality care and education to children across various age groups. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience while making a positive impact on children's lives. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging environment for children. Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning. Help with classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and transitions between activities. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support individual needs and developmental goals. Follow all licensing regulations, health protocols, and program policies to ensure a secure learning environment. Qualifications Those who apply must have a GED or high school diploma at the time of application. Must be available from 2pm-5:30 weekly Available to work additional hours as a substitute is a bonus! Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Those with childcare experience are encouraged to apply.
