Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, and industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor polishers to ensure floors are pristine and well cared for Conduct routine janitorial tasks like replenishing supplies and sanitizing high-touch surfaces Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure work environment Support additional tasks such as painting touch-ups or light maintenance as needed to uphold facility standards Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Experience with custodial tasks such as trash disposal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently in various environments Skills in facilities maintenance or porter experience are highly desirable Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks promptly Compass Service Group Inc proudly offers a full range of services for commercial properties, private schools and medical and healthcare facilities. The schedule will be 5 days per week: Monday through Friday; 5pm to 8:30pm. We are flexible on the start time. Looking for detailed individuals that take pride in their work. Potential candidate must have own transportation and will need to pass a state background check. Job will entail collecting trash, cleaning restrooms, dusting, vacuuming and wet mopping tile floors.
