15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 8:30 pm

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Compensation:

$10.00 - $14.00 per hour About the

Role:

The Pocono Family YMCA is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. This position is vital to the experience of our members and the overall success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of all areas including restrooms, locker rooms, fitness areas, offices, and community spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain flooring and surface cleanliness. Restock supplies such as paper products and soap dispensers. Remove trash and recycling from all areas of the building. Assist with event set-ups and takedowns as needed. Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Always adhere to YMCA safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications:

Prior custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently. Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts. Must pass required background checks and child abuse clearances.
