Part-Time Elementary Teacher (2026-27 School Year)

About us Scholé Center for Innovative Education is a faith-based hybrid school in Arlington, VA. We are innovative, creative, collaborative and our goal is to provide a learner-centered, experience-based and project-driven alternative education program for homeschooling families of innovative children who wish to benefit from meaningful educational and social enrichment as part of a community of learners, parents, and teachers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for empowering young people, a belief in each learner's ability to make a positive impact in the world, flexibility, innovative thinking, initiative, a desire to encourage homeschooling families, an enthusiasm for learning, the ability to guide students and encourage them to be self-driven, a love of teamwork and collaboration, an enjoyment of service learning, and experience guiding young learners in their academics. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-4:15 plus additional compensation for 3 hours of flexible planning time each week. Only candidates with elementary school teaching experience will be considered.
