We're currently seeking a Part-Time Home Health Aide Instructor to lead our Homemaker-Home Health Aide Training Program . This is an opportunity for a licensed RN to shape the next generation of caregivers through mentorship, clinical training, and real-world instruction. Position Summary The Home Health Aide Instructor is responsible for delivering the state-mandated HHA curriculum, supervising apprenticeships, and supporting student learning. You'll ensure that training aligns with federal and state requirements while fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment. Essential Duties Teach and oversee the full Home Health Aide (HHA) training curriculum Plan, develop, and revise lesson plans and training materials as needed Monitor and evaluate students during classroom and apprenticeship phases Provide remediation and individualized support for students who need assistance Support employers in creating apprenticeship work schedules and mentoring plans Ensure testing materials and instructional content meet regulatory standards Troubleshoot apprenticeship or student performance issues in collaboration with employers Maintain accurate documentation for student progress, attendance, and evaluation Stay current on best practices in home health training, compliance, and instruction Perform other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey Minimum 2 years of nursing experience as an RN At least 1 year of experience in community health, public health, or home care At least 6 months of experience supervising homemaker-home health aides Preferred Skills and Competencies Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with adult education or nursing instruction preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning platforms Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Cultural sensitivity and ability to support diverse learners Leadership in resolving student or employer-facing challenges

Work Schedule and Compensation Part-time:

10-20 hours per week , weekdays (flexible scheduling available)
