Job Description
Join our production team and help create the ice cream mix used to make our finished products. This is a hands on, highly active role working with ingredients, industrial processing equipment, and quality tracking systems in a food manufacturing environment. If you enjoy physical work, staying busy, and learning specialized equipment, this position offers a fast moving shift where the day goes by quickly. In this role, you will gather and combine ingredients, operate processing equipment such as pasteurizers and blending systems, record production data, receive and test raw milk, and clean and sanitize equipment daily. You will also move materials using a forklift and follow all food safety and quality procedures. This position works in a warm, humid production environment and requires constant movement throughout the shift. Schedule Swing Shift, 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Every day, Monday through Thursday Pay Training pay starts at $21.50/hr., with potential to reach $25.00/hr. for top performers. Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb stairs throughout an 4.5 hour shift Ability to lift 50 to 55 lbs. repeatedly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally Comfortable performing frequent physical work, including lifting ingredient bags multiple times daily Ability to enter and exit tank access openings when required Manual dexterity and grip strength to handle hoses, clamps, and equipment Basic math and computer skills required Strong attention to detail with accurate recordkeeping Ability to multitask and monitor multiple processes at once Maintain clean and organized work areas Demonstrated initiative and problem solving ability Effective verbal and written communication skills Forklift experience preferred but not required.
