Position Overview As a Police Officer with the Fairfield Police Department, you will perform a wide variety of law enforcement duties including patrol, crime prevention, investigation, traffic enforcement, and community policing.

Residency Requirement :

Officers must reside within 30 minutes of Fairfield. This policy offers flexibility while ensuring timely response capability.
