Part time tax preparer

Responsibilities Prepare individual, small business, and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently using tax software and accounting tools such as QuickBooks. Review financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and expense reports to ensure completeness and correctness. Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and deadlines to ensure timely filing Conduct analysis of client data to identify potential deductions, credits, or adjustments that maximize refunds or reduce liabilities Maintain organized records of all client files, tax documents, and correspondence for audit readiness Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions promptly and professionally Skills Strong knowledge of tax preparation processes and experience with tax software. Familiarity with public accounting practices and bookkeeping principles Ability to understand complex financial concepts and communicate them clearly to clients Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry Proficiency in using accounting software and financial software tools for recordkeeping and reporting Basic marketing skills to promote services effectively within the community or client base Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally Solid understanding of technical accounting standards and math skills necessary for precise calculations Join us in delivering exceptional financial services while building your expertise in tax preparation!
