In this role, you will provide students of all ages with an inspiring and well-balanced music education, teaching theory and technique. Our instructors develop well-rounded musicians who enjoy performing, recording in our studio, and composing original music. If you are a skilled violinist who loves to inspire others, we want to hear from you! Position Responsibilities Teach private and semi-private violin lessons to students of all ages and skill levels Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere for each student Assess a student's readiness to join an orchestra or ensemble Assist at school events, recitals, and performances Assist with basic instrument care and maintenance as needed Requirements Strong working knowledge of violin with a solid understanding of music theory and technique Ability to demonstrate and communicate music concepts effectively to students of all skill levels Ability to manage time and keep students on task in a lesson setting Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities Experience as a performer, whether solo, orchestral, or ensemble Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians Ability to interact effectively and warmly with both children and adults Must be able to pass a background check Working knowledge of additional instruments is a plus Why Headliner Music Academy?
