Job Description

High volume motorcycle accessory manufacturer is looking for a Parts Assembler to join our growing team. Some experience with soldering and light duty manufacturing a plus but not required. New Rage Cycles manufactures aftermarket motorcycle accessories in our Mahopac, NY facility. Our operations include designing, manufacturing, assembling, and shipping worldwide.
Position Overview:
The Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly of custom motorcycle parts, ensuring all components meet quality and performance standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical instructions to assemble parts efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble custom motorcycle components according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks. Inspect parts for defects, alignment, and proper fit before finalizing assemblies. Ensure all components meet specifications and tolerances through careful measurement and adjustment. Perform minor modifications, adjustments, or repairs as needed. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines. Identify and report any production issues or quality concerns to the supervisor. Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and reporting shortages. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of assembly techniques. Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical work preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly processes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a custom manufacturing environment
