Parts Counter Salesperson 20 - St Charles, MN 55972 Apply Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $23.50 Hourly Position Type Full Time Apply Description The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

Purpose:

Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Consistently exhibits Midwest Machinery Company's core purpose and values.

Responsibilities:

Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees Maintains and promotes a safe work environment. Demonstrates understanding of and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

High School diploma or equivalent experience Work experience in similar position preferred Basic data entry/keyboarding skills Basic parts and machinery knowledge Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application Ability to work in a team environment Ability to use a forklift/skid loader, forklift certification preferred

Physical and Mental and Other Requirements:

Frequent bending and stooping Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Standing for extended periods of time Climbing/using ladders Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required Must pass a pre-employment background study
