Job Description

Job Overview Daybrook Fisheries is hiring Parts Warehouse Staff to support day-to-day operations in the Parts Warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking parts and supplies used to keep our processing plant, vessels, and supporting facilities running. The Parts Warehouse Staff works closely with Maintenance, Operations, and the Procurement department to make sure parts are available when needed and that inventory records remain accurate. Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries, verify items against purchase orders and packing slips, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Unload trucks and move parts to designated storage locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. Issue parts to Maintenance, Operations, and other internal departments based on approved requisitions. Stock and organize shelves, bins, and racks; keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and properly labeled. Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories; help research and resolve count variances. Enter receipts and issues into ScanForce in a timely and accurate manner. Pull, stage parts for Westbank Fishing or other locations as directed. Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures at all times. Assist with other warehouse and procurement-support duties as assigned by the supervisor. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, pick up, bend, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 70 lbs. Stand, walk, squat, kneel, and reach throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift. Climb ladders and use step stools to access upper shelving and overhead storage. Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (training and certification provided if needed). Work in indoor warehouse conditions and outdoor conditions, with exposure to heat, humidity, rain, and cold typical of coastal Louisiana. Experience and Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One year of warehouse, parts room, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred. Forklift certification preferred; willingness to be trained and certified is required. Basic computer skills, including comfort entering data into ScanForce experience is a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English for receiving documents, requisitions, and safety information. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Work Schedule Full-time position with 40 hours per week guaranteed. Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours in length. Must be available to work weekends when required or needed, including during peak production season and other operational demands.
