Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, counters, and food prep areas to meet health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of clean dishware Bypass or troubleshoot dishwashing equipment when necessary to ensure continuous operation Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene compliance Help with general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and sanitizing kitchen zones Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with large-scale food prep is advantageous Basic cooking skills or culinary experience can enhance your contribution in food prep tasks Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your dedication ensures smooth operations behind the scenes.
