Job Description
Patient Coordinator- 30A Who we are At Optimal Bio, our mission is to restore your body to optimal health through industry leading Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), thyroid treatment, adrenal support, wellness, and supplements. We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a welcoming and informative experience. Our Patient Coordinators ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We invest in our employees and provide opportunities for growth, training and development. Please note this position is located full time in our Inlet Beach, FL office. What you have High school degree or equivalent 1-2 years medical office experience, preferred Experience using an EHR system, preferred Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask Willingness to learn What you'll do Provide excellent customer service to patients. Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, in person and over the phone. Attend to patient needs, going above and beyond from check-in to check-out. Complete all front office functions including patient communication, answering phones and emails, check-in and check-out, scheduling, billing, completing all Daily Checklist tasks Communicate often with team members. Use EHR for scheduling, billing, maintaining patient records, new patient paperwork, consent forms and other documentation. Responsible for various projects that may arise. Order lab work for patients. Prep procedure rooms, including cleaning and safe handling of biohazard materials, syringe preparation. Participate in office cleaning and organization. Stock and track inventory. Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance Responsible for continuous training, education and development.
