Patient Services Representative

The Patient Services Representative performs duties relating to scheduling and/or admitting patients for any of Manning Regional Healthcare Center services, including data entry, answering phones, filing/scanning, correspondence, maintaining demographics, and collecting insurance information. This role provides excellent service to all customers, striving to exceed their expectations to ensure quality improvement to the MRHC customer-focused environment. Exemplifies excellent customer service toward patients, families, visitors, volunteers, medical providers, and co-workers. Demonstrates courtesy, compassion, and respect. Communicates with all customers in a positive and professional manner. Contributes to teamwork and harmonious working relationships. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor/director, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Section 125 Cafeteria Plan Eligible the first of the month following 30-days of hire. Childcare payroll deduction limitations must meet IRS guidelines. Annual sign-up is January 1st of each year, and employees must sign new forms each year (Employees can change deductions during the year only if there is a change in family status). Long Term Disability Insurance All full-time employees eligible the first of the month following 30-days of hire. 100% of the premium paid by MRHC. 90-calendar day elimination period for coverage. Short Term Disability Insurance All full-time employees eligible the first of the month following 30-days of hire. 100% of the premium paid by employee. 14-calendar day elimination period for coverage.
