International Quality Homecare is seeking a Personal Care Worker to work with clients in St James and Madelia, MN, and surrounding area

Eligibility Requirements :

Pass MN background check Essential Job Function Assists with instrumental activities of daily living. Assists with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, routine catheter and colostomy care, ambulating, transfers, or positioning. Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles, and with dressing and grooming. Simple dressing changes that do not require the skills of a licensed nurse. Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered and do not require the skill of a licensed nurse for safe and effective provision. Assists with activities that are directly supportive of skilled therapy services but do not require the skill of a therapist to be safely and effectively performed, such as routine maintenance exercises. Routine care of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Incidental household services necessary to the provision of one of the above health-related services (may include housework such as light house cleaning, laundry, as well as meal preparation and feeding assistance). Carefully follows client care plan at all times when providing homecare services. All tasks in the client care plan are to be completed as assigned by the Supervisor.
