Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic Pediatric Associate Dentist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and adolescents, providing exceptional dental care in a fun, friendly, and anxiety-free environment. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues in children, educating families on proper oral hygiene, and promoting lifelong dental health habits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine pediatric dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive care. Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as caries, gum diseases, and developmental issues in primary and mixed dentition. Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, and space maintainers. Administer nitrous oxide and/or local anesthesia for procedures, ensuring patient comfort. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to explain treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and preventive strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols. Manage dental emergencies and pediatric trauma cases with confidence and empathy. Work effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care. Stay up to date with the latest pediatric dental technologies, treatments, and best practices.Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Valid dental license Current certifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A genuine passion for working with children and creating positive dental experiences. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide exceptional patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
