Pediatric Home Care Registered Nurse (Dallas)

9 month old male with trach schedule: Tues-Sat 12p-12a $50/HOUR. 1099 INDEPENDENT

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment and senior care, with the ability to handle various medical situations. This role requires a dedicated professional who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for patients through personalized care and support. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual care needs. Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient evaluations. Provide skilled nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assist with medical procedures such as spinal taps and CT imaging as needed. Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes in condition. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in home healthcare. Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of practice. Proven experience in senior care or nursing home settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to perform urgent care tasks effectively under pressure. Experience with neonatal ventilators is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
