Schedule an interview to see why our team loves where they work The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT is growing and is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to work at our pediatric clinic located inSOUTHBURY, CT!
We will also consider Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) candidates (•please inquire within). The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT are open to discussing part-time opportunities as well at our Southbury and/or Shelton, CT location(s). The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT is a highly passionate and skilled multidisciplinary team seeking a dynamic, talented, and fun therapist to join our SPGCT family. The SPGCT therapy team is passionate about what we do both in the clinic and in the community to fulfill our mission of "creating a place where families receive high quality care, feel supported and are important." Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in the field and has experience in the pediatric clinic setting (fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, gross motor, activities of daily living, reflex integration, self-help, self-regulation, cognitive development). Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and implementation of appropriate treatment sessions Evaluating patients and administering standardized testing Developing and implementing goals, plans of care Parent education and training Timely completion of documentation and billing Effective communication skills with patients, parents and staff Strong organizational skills and creativity of session planning Flexibility to adapt to different environment and settings Attendance of department and OT staff meetings Ensuring child's health and safety at all times Engaging in multi-collaboration opportunities with other related servicesRequirements:
Currently hold an CT Occupational Therapy State LicenseAOTA/NBCOT
Certification Meet all professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as an Occupational Therapist/COTA including maintaining licensure and CEUs Pediatric experience required (minimum 1 year)Location:
