Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing impactful Speech-Language Pathology services within a supportive and dynamic school environment. Beginning August 19, 2026, and extending through June 7, 2027, this full-time role offers the chance to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students across a diverse caseload. The contract consists of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus your expertise on helping students achieve their communication goals throughout the academic year.
Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois state license in Speech-Language Pathology Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, including K-12 students CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous school-based or educational setting experience is a plus Commitment to collaborative teamwork and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-12 students Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school regulations Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and professional development Enjoy competitive hourly pay ranging from $40 to $60 and a suite of valuable benefits, including weekly pay, options for health, dental, and vision coverage, 401k enrollment, and reimbursement for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
