Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a full-time contract assignment this school year. This position is available for an immediate start and runs through the end of the school year, offering the opportunity to impact a diverse student population with mixed severity communication needs. Ideal candidates have a passion for working with children in a school environment and are comfortable collaborating with staff, families, and other service providers. Flexibility and creativity are valued as you tailor interventions to meet each child's unique goals. Certified SLPs (CCC), SLPAs, and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply—supervision and mentorship can be provided for the right individual. What we're seeking: Current SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois Experience or strong interest in servicing PK-8 students with varying speech and language challenges Ability to develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans Solid communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing high-quality services and supporting educational success Willingness to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents Key responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services as outlined in IEPs Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively Collaborate with educators and school support staff for holistic student care Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making This role provides valuable experience within a supportive school setting and is ideal for professionals ready to make a meaningful impact this school year.
