Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting and make a real impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students across all grade levels. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity gives you the chance to provide vital speech and language services throughout a district. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and shape young communicators' futures while furthering your professional growth.
Expertise and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP state licensure, or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered Experience or internship background in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families Passion for supporting students' academic and social success through communication
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students district wide, both individually and in group settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress Write and maintain clear documentation, including IEPs, progress notes, and evaluation reports Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations related to speech and language interventions Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning and support You'll be empowered to shape student outcomes, experiencing the fulfillment of seeing children thrive with your guidance.
