Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is highly valued Familiarity with teletherapy and comfort using online platforms for virtual sessions Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Passion for supporting diverse learners with varied speech, language, and communication needsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication challenges Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), set targeted goals, and track progress Deliver direct and virtual speech therapy services according to student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all students and sessions Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families regarding speech-language strategies Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions You'll enjoy the flexibility of a contract schedule, an opportunity to refine your skills in both traditional and teletherapy modalities, and the fulfillment of helping students communicate and thrive every day.
