Kitchen Staff (3 hr)

Summary We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen staff to join our culinary team. This part time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals to students at Trimpe Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support the kitchen team in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours. Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
