Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with a dedicated elementary caseload for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers an engaging environment where you'll collaborate with educators, support K-12 students, and provide teletherapy services as well as in-person care. The role begins April 21, 2026, and runs through July 15, 2027, spanning 183 school days with a consistent full-time schedule—five days a week, 37.5 hours each week. Ideal candidates bring a passion for student progress and expertise spanning pediatrics, healthcare, and schools. Working both independently and as part of a dynamic team, you'll develop individualized therapy plans and help students reach their communication goals in a welcoming, resource-rich setting.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maine Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred Teletherapy skills highly valued Candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school or healthcare experience will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to elementary-age students Evaluate and assess students' communication needs and progress Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement IEP goals Engage with students both in-person and via teletherapy platforms Your expertise and dedication will be rewarded with a pay range of $45
