Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students by providing critical speech and language services in a school-based setting near Hardwick, VT. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help shape growth, nurture communication abilities, and foster new possibilities for children throughout the school year.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Ability to collaborate with staff, administrators, and families to support student success Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective time management and adaptability within a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's goals Provide direct therapy services (individually and in groups) addressing speech, language, and communication difficulties Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate actively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support for each child Offer resources and guidance to educators and caregivers to promote language development and participation Attend IEP meetings, contribute to progress updates, and fulfill required documentation in a timely manner Explore how your expertise can make a meaningful impact on students' lives while growing your own skills in a supportive school environment.
