Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This in-person contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with a dedicated educational team, supporting a caseload of approximately 40-45 students. Most of your focus will be on inclusion students, helping them build essential speech and language skills within the school environment. You'll work alongside another full-time SLP, with collaborative support for more complex cases.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Flexibility and compassion to address varied student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver services primarily to inclusion students, ensuring support within classroom settings Create and document student progress, report findings to families and educational teams Collaborate closely with a co-located SLP for shared learning and case consultation Contribute to a positive, student-focused school culture Engage in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary planning You'll have the satisfaction of making a direct impact on students' lives, all while working in a collaborative environment.
