Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting the communication needs of K-12 students! This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact in a school setting, focusing on pediatric speech-language challenges. You will utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology to assess, diagnose, and treat students while collaborating with a collaborative educational team. Flexibility and variety define this dynamic role, including the chance to work with students in person and via teletherapy platforms.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or CFY candidates welcomed Strong background in pediatric speech therapy and school-based services Familiarity with teletherapy practices and tools (preferred but not required) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) speech-language therapy sessions Consult with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with applicable regulations Contribute actively to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for students' communication goals This contract position promises the chance to make a genuine difference in children's academic and personal development.
